Sunset on Half Dome from Glacier Point on 3/22/08. It was not a very spectacular sunset but after skiing 11 miles it was very rewarding. Glacier Point is a very different place in the winter as you pretty much have the place to yourself.

Tenaya Canyon, Yosemite
This is a waterfall in the deepest depths of Tenaya Canyon. Only 40' high, this waterfall is at the base of Clouds Rest which rises over 5,000' above. The water is clearest and bluest I have ever seen and it takes hours of hiking and several rappel's to reach this spot.

El Capitan and the Merced river bathed in fall colors, Yosemite Valley.
The sky does not get any more blue and combined with the fall colors makes for a spectacular show. This is looking up the Merced River in Yosemite Valley at El Capitan.

The dogwoods are in full bloom. This lovely tree is next to the Merced River in Yosmeite Valley and this was taken during a morning rain storm.

Merced Grove of Giant Sequoias. Yosemite National Park. This Grove of Giant Sequoias is several miles west of Crane Flat and then a 2 mile hike in. This is the smallest and least visited grove. This shot was taken during a winter storm after we skied in.
