In the winter this hut is nicely outfitted with beds, couches, tons of
food and drinks for winter skiers. You can book a bed and a meal and
enjoy Glacier Point without the hordes of buses and people.

Sunset on Half Dome from Glacier Point on 3/22/08. It was not a very spectacular sunset but after sking 11 miles it was very rewarding. Glacier Point is a very different place in the winter as you pretty much have the place to yourself.
