The sky does not get any more blue and combined with the fall colors makes for a spectacular show. This is looking up the Merced River in Yosemite Valley at El Capitan.

The Mighty Merced River Spring Run Off. This is by Arch Rock and shows the Merced River BIG water from the snow melt. It has gotten really big with the hot temperatures and will not last long due to lack of snow in Yosemite's High Country. Taken 5/17/08
